Scandic Fusion Expands into the Nordics: New Offices, New Services, and a Stronger Local Presence

This expansion marks the fulfillment of a long-standing vision to establish a strong local presence in the Nordics, a goal central to our mission since our founding in 2007. We are opening a new office in Oslo, Norway, expanding our team, launching new Enterprise Performance Management services, and gearing up for more Nordic-related news later this fall.

The Strategic Move to the Nordics

Our expansion into the Nordics is not just about geography —it's about deepening our service offerings and building stronger, more collaborative relationships with our clients. While Scandic Fusion has a solid long-term client base in the Baltics, we have been working with more and more customers from the Nordic countries. Of the 124 projects realized in 2023 alone,  around a half were with clients from the Nordic region.

With the growth of remote collaboration over the last few years, we have been able to realize many successful projects, including Vaisala's strategic shift to SAP Cloud, the revamp of BW LNG's HSEQ analytics, PGS's transition to Google Cloud for enhanced data warehousing, and a lot more. While we value the advantages of online communication, we recognize the critical importance of local presence and face-to-face interactions. Opening a regional office in Oslo and expanding our team and service offerings will enable us to better address our Nordic clients' unique needs, ensuring more personalized and effective collaboration.

To ensure successful growth in the Nordic countries, we are happy to welcome Jonas Ludvigsson to our team. With more than 25 years of experience in IT and successful team building, he's joining us as a Business Development Director in Nordics.

We've assembled an experienced team to lead our new EPM services and solutions, and we're now looking to expand our Analytics team in Oslo. To support this growth, we're seeking talented professionals for key positions, including a Country Lead and a Lead Architect for our Analytics Team. These roles are critical as we continue to build our local presence and deliver top-tier analytics solutions to our clients in the Nordics.

Service expansion – Enterprise Performance Management

With the opening of our new office in Oslo, alongside our traditional data analytics services, we are launching new EPM services supported by a dedicated EPM team. The team consists of experienced EPM professionals led by Rune Andersen as the Country Director and Inge Kristiansen as the Sales Director.

By launching a dedicated EPM team, Scandic Fusion brings advanced solutions enabling CFOs and decision-makers to streamline financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes accurately and efficiently. Our new services and solutions include EPM Advisory and implementation, with strong focus on Financial Close & Consolidation, Financial and Operational Planning, Financial Management Reporting, and ESG Reporting, all designed to enhance agility, collaboration, and compliance across the organization.

With our EPM services, clients can expect improved decision-making, reduced financial close times, and a strategic approach to sustainability and reporting.

A Long-Awaited Milestone

Since our founding in 2007, Scandic Fusion has experienced steady growth, particularly in recent years. From 2020 to 2022, our team expanded from 45 to 70 members, reflecting our increasing client base with 37active clients and the successful realization of 124 projects in 2023 alone. Our expansion into the Nordics represents more than just opening new offices; it's about fulfilling our commitment to quality, innovation, and closer collaboration with our clients. We are proud to be growing our presence in a region that has always been central to our vision.
