Head of Data Science

• Establish and guide the company's Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) strategy;
• Follow AI/ML technological trends and set priorities;
• Engage in the sales process by demonstrating AI/ML capabilities to potential clients;
• Build and maintain relationships with clients within the AI/ML projects;
• Comprehend and articulate business objectives and inquiries within the AI/ML scope;
• Oversee and manage AI/ML projects, actively participating in all project phases;
• Direct the AI/ML team and enhance its efficiency;
• Advice clients on the best practices of data collection and process improvements.

To do that you’ll need:

‍

• Possess a minimum of five years' experience in statistics, data analysis, and managing a team in the AI/ML field;

• Display strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop a team;
• Have robust technical abilities, including a comprehensive understanding of data storage principles and best practices;
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in planning and successful implementation of complex projects;
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English;
• Higher education in mathematics, statistic or a similar discipline.
