IT Project Manager

We’ll trust you with:

  • Manage the entire life cycle of data warehouse and business intelligence implementation projects, from scope definition to implementation and maintenance stages;
  • Perform business requirement analysis, solution preparation, project scope, and budget assessments together with the team;
  • Organize teamwork, taking care of the team's well-being and cooperation, and perform effective time and resource planning according to project goals and deadlines;
  • Ensure regular, positive, and constructive communication with clients remotely and in person, discussing project status, tasks, changes, next steps, and open questions;
  • Follow project execution, deadlines, profitability, and team workload;
  • Perform project risk and quality management;
  • Offer clients your vision for improvements in data analysis and business processes;
  • Represent the company by presenting solutions both in a team and individually;
  • Identify potential sales opportunities for future projects with the client.

To do that you’ll need:

  • At least five years of experience in IT project and team management, preferably experience in system analysis and business process analysis;
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with Project Management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as project management tools;
  • Experience in defining business requirements and preparing technical specifications;
  • Good technical understanding and enthusiasm for learning new technologies;
  • Experience in working with data warehouses or business intelligence solutions is desirable;
  • Excellent time planning skills and ability to organize your own and teams work;
  • Analytical and problem-solving oriented personality with the ability to think strategically;
  • Negotiation skills and excellent communication skills both with the team and with clients;
  • Good knowledge of Latvian and English;
  • Higher education in the field of IT, economics, business administration or finance;
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to work in dynamic conditions.
