In the past years Scandic Fusion has successfully implemented three different SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions for Vaisala and we are now working on creating a set of new SAC BI dashboards on top of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC).

We started working together with Scandic Fusion in 2017, heavily focusing on interactive dashboarding in SAP BO on top of BW BEx queries and HANA calculation views, covering the needs of Finance & Control, HR, Sales & Loyalty, Logistics, Inventory, Category, and assortment management.

A great example of our collaboration with Scandic Fusion is the implementation of SAC in 2020 for Retail financial planning at monthly granularity for quarterly Rolling forecast, Annual Target, and Long Term Planning cycles. During the implementation phase, Scandic Fusion provided end-user and power-user training to help RIMI build internal SAC planning know-how. Following its success, RIMI built a financial planning solution internally for its real-estate business, with Scandic Fusion as its advisor. Both solutions are in production use, and Scandic Fusion continues to support RIMI by covering the backlog of end-user-generated change requests for improvements.

Scandic Fusion has been our partner on DWH, BI & related components since this was first established in PGS several years ago. The original implementation was running on an on-prem application stack the first years, with new sources from several different technical platforms being added over time. With the advancements in cloud technology, it was decided to make the move and take advantage of these possibilities. A full lift-and-shift of complete architecture was successfully performed, using Google Cloud Platform and Power BI cloud native components only. This dramatically increased the data usage in PGS, while reducing outage risk and maintenance cost. Through the numerous projects we have cooperated on, Scandic Fusion has been advising on architecture, doing much of the project coordination including liaising with business users, in addition to performing the majority of the development work.

Helse Sør-Øst needed a partner experienced in rapid deployment of financial and supply chain analytics, who has expert level skills in Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Analytics Server and Oracle EBS. Scandic Fusion consultants had impressive experience of having completed multiple projects in the given technology pool - and we were happy to cooperate on the implementation for Helse Sør-Øst and Sykehuspartner. Latvia’s State Forests and Scandic Fusion have successfully partnered on various DWH/BI/Planning/Data mining development projects and support since 2013. Among other things, together with Scandic Fusion, we have developed one centralized DWH with optimal data structure replacing decentralized solutions, completely rebuilt our budgeting and planning solution in Oracle Apex, and put a focus on data mining solutions, for example, developing a predictive model for fell’s assortment.
